z/OS & System z Compatibility
IBM typically delivers z/OS with annual releases every September. Compuware supports z/OS and its customers who are deploying System z technology throughout their enterprises.
Compuware adheres to the following practices for ensuring quality as service becomes available for IBM products:
- IBM service is applied monthly to maintenance affecting compilers
- HIPERs, Security/Integrity/Pervasive PTFs and their associated requisites and supersedes are applied when Compuware becomes aware of service severely impacting its products
- Twice per year, extensive regression testing is performed against a current IBM RSU level for its latest Z/OS release and Compuware’s most current GA releases
